Big brothers rock

During our zoo trip recently, it was so precious as a momma to see the love Fone has for his little sister, Rose.  He held her hand, walked with her, carried her, gave her drinks, lifted her up to see the animals, and more.  It's so beautiful to see the love between siblings.  Here's some pictures I took of these two sweeties...

A whole lot of sibling LOVE

You know when you go on a vacation with a .......l...o...n...g....... drive and how the kids ask every two minutes that question that drives every parent *W*I*L*D* --- "are we there yet?".  Well, having a new baby with older siblings is somewhat similar.  I bet you can't even guess that question, although completely wonderful and sweet, but asked a zillion times definitely can start to make your head spin --- "can I hold the baby?" -OR- "is it my turn yet?".  Yeah, we've been playing LOTS of baby hot potato around here and what a beautiful blessing it is that our new little guy has ALL these brothers and sisters who love and adore him so much!!

Brothers and Sisters

My puzzle kings

A couple weeks ago, when Neil and the four big kids were at TKD, I put my list away of things that "needed" to be done and got out a bunch of puzzles to do with the little boys.  Max and Pookey did such a good job working together and had a great time.  They have taken over the title from their older siblings as the "puzzle kings" now.  Way to go boys!!

A fun night with Daniel Tiger

We have a great local public tv station and thanks to my in-laws who donate generously every year, we get invited to a party with one of the PBS kids characters.  This year, the kids got to meet Daniel Tiger, whom Pookey just adores!!  And, one of the best parts about the evening is that their young cousins came as well - so there were 13 out of the 16 young kids together.  It was so sweet! 

First, we started out with some yummy food...

We played a couple games - "Daniel says" and a fishing game....

Made a commercial - we're FAMOUS!  I wanted to link it up, but I'm having a hard time finding it on the website.  However, I did find a commercial that our kids were in from a couple years ago (do you notice the kids in the video wearing those cool tie-dye Sacred Heart shirts??)...
